How do I join the GoWell Community?

Simply create an account on our website, www.gowell.com.ph, to become a member of GoWell, Sun Life’s Wellness Community. Membership is free!

What are the privileges of being a GoWell member?

You can look forward to enjoying the following privileges:

  • ACCESS TO HEALTH AND WELLNESS CONTENT: Practical tips, healthy recipes, and useful information on health and wellness at www.gowell.com.ph
  • COMMUNITY WORKOUTS: Regular workouts with other community members, such as the Namaste Run, Family Zumba, or Sweat Night. Booking is free but you must pre-register on the website.
  • PERKS AND PRIVILEGES. Discounts and freebies from our partner establishments. Check the website for a full listing.
  • POINTS & REWARDS. Earn points for reading articles on the website and attending events. Redeem exciting rewards such as Garmin fitness trackers and Apple Watches with your points.
  • MEET LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS. You’ll have the opportunity to meet other health and wellness enthusiasts in the community who will support you in your health and wellness goals.

What are the types of memberships and what makes them different from each other?

Teal members are individuals who registered in GoWell through www.gowell.com.ph.

Gold members are individuals who are insured with SUN Fit and Well, a Sun Life product, and have also registered in GoWell through the website.

How do I become a Gold member?

After being insured with SUN Fit and Well, you will receive an email providing you with instructions on how to create a GoWell account. Follow the instructions in the email.

You may also visit www.bit.ly/gowellgold to create an account using the same email address indicated in your SUN Fit & Well Policy. You will then receive your activation code via email within 10 days. Make sure to check the Spam folder.

After receiving your activation code, upgrade your membership from TEAL to GOLD by typing in your activation code on your user profile: https://www.gowell.com.ph/user-profile/

Please allow for 10 working days before your Gold membership request is approved.

I have a SUN Fit and Well policy. Where can I find the activation code for my GOLD membership?

Visit www.gowell.com.ph then sign up for a TEAL membership using the same email address indicated in your SUN Fit & Well Policy. You will then receive your activation code via email within 10 days. Make sure to check the Spam folder.

After receiving your activation code, you may now use it to upgrade your membership from TEAL to GOLD. Just input your activation code on your user profile: https://www.gowell.com.ph/user-profile/

I am already a Teal member and I recently purchased a SUN Fit and Well Policy. How do I update my membership to Gold?

After being insured with SUN Fit and Well, you will receive an email providing you with instructions on how to create an account. You may also visit www.bit.ly/gowellgold to create an account. Please allow for 10 working days before your Gold membership request is approved.

I recently purchased a Sun Life policy, but it is not a SUN Fit and Well policy. Can I still be a Gold member?

Gold membership is open only to individuals insured with SUN Fit and Well. SUN Fit and Well is a new and unique generation critical illness product that covers you in four different ways: Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Rehabilitation. GoWell is part of its Prevention feature, as it aims to help prevent illnesses for individuals insured with SUN Fit and Well.

What are the privileges of being a Gold member?

As a Gold member, you receive the following privileges:

  • GOLD CARD AND SWAG BAG. Gold members receive a personalized Gold card as proof of membership and a gym bag which will be delivered by your Sun Life advisor.
  • ACCESS TO HEALTH AND WELLNESS CONTENT: Practical tips, healthy recipes, and useful information on health and wellness at www.gowell.com.ph
  • COMMUNITY WORKOUTS: Free workouts with GoWell community members. You gain Gold access for an event, which allows for express entry, reserved space, and a chance to bring your advisor along. Booking is free but pre-registration on the website is required.
  • GOLD FITNESS CLASSES: Choose from as much as 20 free group classes per month with our partner gyms and boutique studios. Event calendar and booking is available on the website.
  • PERKS AND PRIVILEGES. Discounts and freebies from our partner establishments. Check the website for a full listing.
  • POINTS & REWARDS. Earn points for reading articles on the website and attending events. Click on Rewards on the website for more information.

I do not have a Facebook or Gmail account. Can I still be a member?

We require a Facebook or Gmail account for those interested to sign up for a membership. You may create a Facebook or Gmail account and use this to sign into our website.

I am a Gold member. How do I claim my Gold card?

Your advisor will deliver your Gold card along with your swag bag. Please allow for at least eight weeks from the time of purchase of SUN Fit and Well.

I am a Gold member. How do I claim my Gold member Swag Bag?

Your advisor will deliver your swag bag along with your Gold card. Please allow for at least eight weeks from the time of purchase of SUN Fit and Well.

You may also claim your swag bag at any of our community workouts and fitness classes. See the event calendar on our website, www.gowell.com.ph, for more details.

I purchased a SUN Fit and Well policy for my child who is a minor. Who is the Gold member in our case?

If the insured is a minor (i.e. has not reached the age of majority which is 18 years old), the GoWell Gold Membership may be availed under the POLICY OWNER’S NAME. Then, when the insured minor reaches the age of maturity, a request for Gold activation must be sent by the policy owner or insured to gowell@sunlife.com. Upon receipt of request, GoWell will activate the minor’s Gold membership within 10 working days. Meanwhile, the policy owner maintains his / her Gold membership.

I purchased a SUN Fit and Well policy for an adult family member. Can I be the Gold member instead?

No. The GoWell Gold membership may only be availed by the INSURED individual if he/she is an adult (i.e., above 18 years old.) GoWell only allows for the policy owner to be the Gold member when the insured is a minor.

When are the community workouts?

The community workouts are held almost every month in various areas within the metro. See the event calendar on our website, www.gowell.com.ph, for more details.

What do I need to join the community workouts?

All you need to do is to pre-register on our website to book your slot. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis only.

The community workouts are free for both Teal and Gold members.

I am a Sun Life advisor. Can I join the events?

For the community workouts, you can attend as long as you have signed into the website as a Teal or Gold member and booked a slot on the Event Calendar page. If you are accompanying your Client who is a Gold member, you will be given Gold access to that particular event.

For the fitness classes, you can attend as long as you are also a Gold member and you have booked a slot on the website.

I am a Gold member. When are the fitness classes?

We offer a variety of fitness classes to Gold members for free. The classes will start in August. These are held in various partner gyms and studios within Metro Manila and at different times during the week. See the event calendar on www.gowell.com.ph. Booking is required.

What do I need to join the fitness classes?

You must be a Gold member to join the fitness class.

If you are a Gold member, all you need to do is to book your slot on our website. Booking is on a first-come, first-served basis only.

I’m not athletic. Can I join the workouts?

Yes. All events are for fitness enthusiasts of all levels.

I am a Sun Life advisor. Can I join the events?

You can attend the community workouts as long as you have signed into the website as a Teal or Gold member and booked a slot on the Event Calendar page. If you are accompanying your client, you will be given Gold access to that particular event.

On the other hand, you may join the fitness classes if you are also a Gold member and have booked a slot on the website.

I am a Gold member. When are the fitness classes?

Do I need to bring anything when I attend a fitness class?

Please bring a valid I.D. as proof of identity. Come in your workout attire and bring your own equipment (if needed) for the class, such as towel, mat, hydration, and change of clothes. No fees will be collected.

I am a Gold member. Can I use the gym facilities after the GoWell group class?

No. GoWell Gold members are only allowed to join the GoWell group class in the studio at that particular period and are not allowed to use other gym equipment outside of the studio area of partner gyms such as Fitness First, Kerry Sports, etc.

How do I avail of the perks or discounts with partner establishments?

At the partner establishment, present a proof of your GoWell membership. There are two ways:

  • SMARTPHONE: Log on to the GoWell website using your smart phone. Go to Members page to view your membership badge. Present this to the merchant along with a valid I.D. Sign in the merchant’s monitoring sheet after availing of a perk or discount.
  • PRINTOUT: Before going to the partner establishment, log on to the GoWell website. Go to Members page to view your membership badge. Print out the badge. Present the printout to the merchant along with a valid I.D. Sign in the merchant’s monitoring sheet after availing of a perk or discount.

How do I earn points?

Both Teal and Gold members can earn points in two ways:

  • Boost your knowledge. Read the health and wellness articles on the website. Our system will track the visit and credit one point per day for Teal members and two points per day for Gold members.

Boost your fitness. Attend GoWell events and get moving. Teal members earn two points and Gold members earn six points for every Community Workout attended. Gold members also earn four points for every Gold fitness classes

How do I know how many points I have?

Click on your membership profile on the upper right corner of the GoWell website. Your points will be seen under your surname.

How do I claim a reward?

Go to www.gowell.com.ph/rewards and click on the reward you wish to avail of. The request will be sent to the GoWell team, and we will respond to you within 10 working days. If your request is approved based on the points you have, you will receive an email with details on how to claim your reward at Sun Life Head Office in BGC, Taguig.

Can I claim several rewards?

Each member may claim a maximum of two rewards per year.

Can I convert my reward to cash?

Rewards are not convertible to cash.

I am interested in purchasing a SUN Fit and Well Policy. Who do I contact?
